Conflicts of interest

Staff should disclose financial interests, personal connections, gifts and other conflicts relevant to an assignment. An editor decides whether reassignment or disclosure is needed.

AI use

AI may assist with routine organization or research leads, but it is not a source. Humans must verify facts, quotations and references. We do not fabricate people, images of events or source evidence. Significant AI assistance should be disclosed.
